To long for the blossoming meadow
And I the bee or butterfly by day
And moth by night
Without the indifference
Of pollinators joy
I search for the single bloom
Nectar sweet a surprise
Even in familiarity
Every awakening moment
Poised between worlds
We have evolved together
To hasten my return
The gently laid petals
Their curvature my compass
Nostalgia in the air
And the longing for it
To return and remain
The dimly lit enclosure of the flower
Begs infinite bliss
A reunion of creation and
Here we will stay
In a lifetime but a moment awayBut in a moment eternity found
